Paramount+ is the newly released streaming service overtaking CBS All Access on March 4, 2021. The Ren and Stimpy Show is one of many classic Nicktoons available on the service, though it has an assortment of issues and goofs.*

*Note: Many of these errors may be resolved at a later date on the service, these are issues present as of April 2021

Inconsistent Censorship[]

Below is a list of episodes that have experienced censorship in the past (be it on television or DVD) and whether or not those censors remain on Paramount+

Season 2[]

  • Ren's Toothache - UNCENSORED (Stimpy's jars of spit that were previously removed on DVD have been restored)
  • Out West - Censored (Abner and Ewalt pulling nooses around each others necks and Ewalt's final line, "Y'all bring the kids next time, ya hear!" that were censored on most television broadcasts and DVD both remain censored)
  • Son of Stimpy - UNCENSORED (Stimpy reporting Stinky to the police which was cut from television broadcasts has been restored in addition to the montage of Stimpy in bed and Ren putting a Christmas present next to a photo of Stimpy that were cut from the DVD)
  • The Great Outdoors - Censored (The close-up of Ren striking a match that was cut from most airings and the DVD remains censored)
  • The Cat That Laid the Golden Hairball - UNCENSORED (The assembly-line montage cut from the DVD has been restored)
  • Stimpy's Fan Club - Censored (A giant, hairy rear fading over Ren after reading Stimpy's letter was cut from occasional reruns and, despite being restored on DVD, has once again been excised)
  • The Royal Canadian Kilted Yaksmen - Censored (The word 'hell' used during the song that was censored everywhere but in MTV airings remains bleeped)

Season 3[]

  • Jimminy Lummox - UNCENSORED (Beaver urine that was cut from initial airing as well as all of Ren's pranks on Stimpy that were removed from the DVD release have all been resurrected)
  • Bass Masters - UNCENSORED (Ren loading the boat and the fish sucking on the chum that were cut from the DVD are both reinstated here)
  • Road Apples - 50:50 (Scenes of Ren being chewed by a vulture and Ren and Stimpy sharing a bed with Wilbur Cobb that were cut from the DVD have been restored, but Ren and Mr. Pipe in the shower together, which was cut from most airings and the DVD, remains missing)
  • Ren's Retirement - UNCENSORED (Stimpy using Ren as his golf caddy after getting a mouthful of gloves from Haggis, which was cut from the DVD, has been reinstated)
  • Lair of the Lummox - Censored (The episode is uncensored, but the chicken in a drawer segment that was cut from the DVD is missing)

Season 4[]

  • House of Next Tuesday - UNCENSORED (Whale vomiting scene that was initially cut from the DVD has been restored)
  • A Friend in Your Face! - UNCENSORED (Brief, three second scene of parasites viewing the new hotel on Ren's head, cut from the DVD, returns)
  • Prehistoric Stimpy - Censored (Stimpy ripping off Wilbur Cobb's facial features to imitate the bumbling old coot as he rambles about the extinction of dinosaurs was originally cut from the DVD and remains censored here)
  • Farm Hands - Censored (Ren and Stimpy having to chew with gravel after losing their teeth, which was censored on DVD, remains omitted)
  • Magical Golden Singing Cheeses - UNCENSORED (The frozen tree and gas pump portions of Stimpleton and the Village Idiot's competition that were cut from the DVD are reinstated here)
  • A Hard Day's Luck - UNCENSORED (The test of generosity that was removed from the DVD is resurrected)
  • I Love Chicken - Censored (Chicken's dowry, removed from the DVD, remains censored)
  • Powdered Toast Man vs. Waffle Woman - Censored (Waffle Woman's threat, "If you've got the guts!" was removed on DVD and remains censored)
  • It's a Dog's Life - UNCENSORED (Extra scene of Ren and Stimpy walking to the boiler room, originally removed from the DVD, has been restored)
  • Egg Yölkeo - UNCENSORED (Opening pan of village, Egg Yölkeo driving with the kidnappers, and Renwaldo rocking Egg Yölkeo to sleep in the fridge have all been restored after being cut from the DVD)
  • Galoot Wranglers - UNCENSORED (Extremely brief scene of the galoots beginning to chase after Stimpy that was cut from the DVD is resurrected)
  • Ren Needs Help! - UNCENSORED (Ren being taken away with Stimpy telling him to "Have fun!" as well as Ren's daily routines and a visit from Stimpy that were all censored on DVD have been resurrected)
  • Travelogue - UNCENSORED (The Ol’ Facefull scene, removed from the DVD, has been fully restored)

Season 5[]

  • Feud for Sale - UNCENSORED (The Salesman teasing Abner with his vocabulary, Ewalt's grandpa, and the elephant collecting its commission have all been restored after being omitted from the DVD)
  • Big Flakes - UNCENSORED (Ren eating a Monday with shaving cream, removed from most broadcasts and the DVD, has finally been resurrected)
  • Pen Pals - UNCENSORED (The police officer waving a white flag as a sign of surrender, omitted from the DVD, has been restored)
  • Reverend Jack - Censored (The second half of the meat ceremony, originally cut from the DVD and most airings, remains censored)
