List of banned/censored episodes

This is a list of episodes that have been banned and/or censored.

• Sven Hoek: The scenes where Sven and Stimpy play together in Stimpy's litter box and Ren threatening to gouge Stimpy and Sven's eyes out were not shown on the Nickelodeon airing. Both scenes are restored in the First and Second Seasons DVD, albeit the latter featuring a video timecode.
• Dog Show: George Liquor's name is censored in the Nickelodeon airing, instead being simple "George, American". The episode was banned after a few airings.
• Big House Blues: The scene where the Dog Catcher says "See if i care" was cut due to looking "Too femininely" The scene where Ren kisses Stimpy was cut entirely. But is seen during the Opening
• A Visit to Anthony's: Hasn't aired in a decade on Nickelodeon. Believed to be banned. Most likely due to strong themes of bullying. Or royality issues involving "Anthony" who was a real fan who sent the first fan letter to the show. & voiced himself in the episode
• Stimpy's Fan Club: Was banned in some countries due to Ren threatening to kill Stimpy while sleeping. Though the episode airs in the US. In the UK however. The oath bumper with Susan Fout was cut. & the scene where Ren feels guilty after receiving Stimpy's letter was censored to not feature the bit showing the Underwear clad waist
• Big Baby Scam: Was censored on the DVD, The Scene where Mister Pipe grates Ren's face on his stubble was cut. As well as the scene where the Grandpa whistles "In The Hall of The Mountain King" The entire Bath sequence was cut from Nickelodeon airings. The episode was later banned.
• Jiminy Lummox: On the DVD. All of Ren's pranks against Stimpy are cut. On the Nickelodeon airings, The scene where Mister Pipe drinks the Beaver-Urine polluted water was trimmed. It originally had the aftermath of his hands melting. The same effect was seen during the Episode "Hermit Ren"
• Man's Best Friend: Banned from airing due to scenes of brutal violence. This episode would not air on TV until the creation of Ren & Stimpy "Adult Party Cartoon", and is available on the First and Second Seasons DVD as a bonus feature.
• Circus Midgets: Banned by Nickelodeon due to the word "midget" being potentially offensive to some viewers. Aired on NickToons Network around 2004/2005.
• Ren's Retirement: Banned by Nickelodeon due to its dark subject matter. Later aired on MTV & The Splat.
• Eat My Cookies: Banned some places due to heavy references to communism.
• Ren's Bitter Half: Banned for the same reasons as Eat My Cookies. Both episodes are available on the Seasons Three and a Half-ish DVD.
• Powdered Toast Man vs. Waffle Woman: Banned from airing after September 11, 2001, due to a scene depicting the Twin Towers being destroyed. The episode would later air on The Splat as well as MTV.
• Double Header: Banned due to multiple scenes of disturbing imagery.
• Ren Needs Help!: Banned for the same reasons as Double Header. As well as suicide references. Both episodes are available on the Season Five and Some More of Four DVD.
• Travelogue: Banned in some countries due to the episodes heavy use of toilet humor.
• Bell Hops/Dog Tags: Banned by Nickelodeon for unknown reasons.
• Sammy and Me: Banned due to its violent subject matter and potentially offensive jokes. The episode did not air on Nickelodeon and instead premiered on MTV.
• The Last Temptation: Banned due to its religious subject matter. Much like Sammy and Me, it premiered on MTV and never aired on Nickelodeon.
