The Loud House

Chris Savino left production after the show ended in 1995, and 1996 to work on future projects for his career. 17 years later, In 2013, Chris Savino pitched his cartoon, The Loud House, a concept based on his own life experiences growing up in a large family (he's the ninth of ten children), as part of Nickelodeon's annual Animated Shorts Program. Besides his main job, he is also a member of Nickelodeon Animation Studio's Artist Collective, where veterans of the animation industry help train and nurture new talent that arrives at the studio.

Besides his usual duties, he also draws all the title card art, and other still-frame pictures, which are drawn in a rougher style than the rest of the show. He also takes it upon himself to direct every episode of the series (except on a few occasions).

He became known for creating his own cartoon, The Loud House. The show became popular behind SpongeBob SquarePants.

In October 17th, 2017, Chris Savino was suspended for being reported of sexual misconducts and threats against female employees working on the studio, and two days later, on October 19th, 2017, he was now fired from Nickelodeon, causing both Ren and Stimpy and Loud House fans to become upset.

Chris's apology to the response from October 2017

I am deeply sorry and I am ashamed,

Although it was never my intention, I now understand that the impact of my actions and communications created an unacceptable environment. At every stage of my career, I have sought to uplift my colleagues and cultivate a culture of respect. In this objective, I have failed. I should have known better, I should have acted better, and this has been a difficult but valuable lesson."

I have nothing but the deepest respect for the bravery of the women who have spoken out, trying to create an environment in which they can thrive to their fullest potential.
