Trivia[]
- Dr. Brainchild and his mother are voiced by Bill Mumy and June Lockhart who respectively played a son and mother in the sci-fi TV series Lost in Space, which that ran from 1965 to 1968.
- This is the first episode to be animated by the Australian company Mr. Big Cartoons.
- Stimpy’s Ignorance Gland’s character design is a major reference to the Looney Tunes' character, Gossamer.
- Bathroom at the start of the episode is reused from Ren's Toothache.
- The title parodied the 1974 R-rated satirical black comedy Western film Blazing Saddles, directed by Mel Brooks and starring Cleavon Little, Gene Wilder, Slim Pickens, Harvey Korman, and Richard Pryor.
